What Hardware will be installed in my house/business?

The CCTV installation service includes a minimum of four cameras, one Network Video Recorder (NVR) with 2TB of local storage and cabling.

Is there a minimum number of Cameras per system?

Yes, four cameras is the minimum number of cameras required for a quote. We have found that four cameras provides full coverage for most residential properties, as well as most small businesses.

Is cloud recording available?

Cloud Storage is not available. Footage for the recording is stored locally on the NVR

How long can my cameras record for?

This depends on the size of the storage, number of cameras and the programmed recording frequency (constant or instance). We can determine the length of recording for you based on the quoted system.

How do I retrieve recorded footage?

The data is stored physically on the hard drive of the NVR. This can be retrieved using a standard USB or portable hard drive. We can also assist with remote retrieval if needed.

Can I remote access my cameras?

Yes. Remote camera access can be done through a smart phone or desktop application or Smart TV.
